After more than 50 years of slumber, the CTCA has redeveloped the Silo of the Old Biscuit Mill into a state-of-the-art facility – geared for world-class education.

The CTCA campus is situated in Woodstock, Cape Town – the creative heart of South Africa. This dynamic location underscores the artistic approach of the CTCA in a hub known for its diversity of creative studios of talented contemporary artists, designers and product designers. The bustling workshops, specialist shops, cafes and markets attract thousands of visitors every week. Students are exposed to festivals and events in music, drama and film, presented by local and international performers.

The campus is easily accessible with public transport. The MyCiTi bus passes the campus with the Biscuit Mill Stops of Route 261 at the entrance and just opposite the Old Biscuit Mill. Click www.myciti.org.za for the Route 261 Timetable.

The campus – based in the Silo at the Old Biscuit Mill – was developed by the renowned Daddy’s World Group, who revived much of Cape Town’s famous Long Street and has ignited a revival of the Woodstock area. Renowned Cape Town-based architect Kristof Basson translated the vision and needs of the CTCA into a unique architectural statement.
