Andrew Maunder

Senior Lecturer: Interaction Design

Andrew Maunder is a user-centred design and mobile app specialist. He has 7 years’ industry experience in the user experience space and a PhD that focused on the application of user-centred design (UCD). His innovation and product design work has been internationally recognised and published.

He was co-founder of Kuza Mobile where he led the product research and design activities. At Flow Interactive he assisted several companies with the design of their digital products including MWeb, Mxit, DSTV, Old Mutual and Lexus. He was the user experience architect for the Mxit app and designed and built the Snap and Grab product as part of his PhD research in collaboration with others.
